Store Terms and Conditions

The following are the terms and conditions of purchase from the Ross-Tech online store and for the use, under license by Ross-Tech, of VCDS software. In order to complete your purchase, you must acknowledge and agree to the Ross-Tech Terms and Conditions. Failure to agree will terminate this sales process.

Purchase Terms:

• Ross-Tech WILL NOT ship anything until payment has cleared. This statement covers all payment methods including but not limited to: PayPal eChecks, PayPal, Checks, Money Orders, and Credit Cards.

• Products manufactured by Ross-Tech, LLC are warranted to be free of defect for a period of one year. You, the purchaser, acknowledge that you have read and understand the warranty terms found on this page:Guarantee.

• This order is subject to review by Ross-Tech and can be rejected if the sale is not per the conditions of sale set forth on any of the Ross-Tech web pages. Should this order be rejected, Credit cards will not be charged and PayPal payments will be refunded.

• International Sales: All duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer. The courier company normally pays these costs when they clear the package through customs in your country and will attempt to collect the same from you, either when the package is delivered or by invoice afterwards. The courier company may also assess a small fee for this service. Should you fail to pay the courier company, they will bill Ross-Tech instead and Ross-Tech will take whatever steps are necessary to recover these additional costs from you.

• As indicated elsewhere, there is a fee for exchanges due to a customer error. To process an exchange, the customer must contact Ross-Tech via phone at +1.267.638.2300 or email to Orders@Ross-Tech.com. Ross-Tech will not accept returns without prior authorization.

• On VCDS License with Interface purchases, we only ship the Interface Hardware. You must download the current version of the VCDS software. A manual is also available for on-line reading or for download as a .PDF file .

• Orders are processed in the order they are received. Ross-Tech does not promise same day shipment. We commit to typically shipping within one (1) business day from receipt of your payment. Backordered items will typically ship within one (1) business day of receipt of goods to inventory.

• Unless otherwise specified, all orders are shipped Insured and signature required. It is assumed that the shipping address you provide is one at which a signature can be obtained. Ross-Tech will not be held responsible for delays to obtain signatures. If you elect to waive the signature requirement, you assume all responsibility for any loss of goods in transit.

• VCDS is Copyright (c)2000-2017 by Ross-Tech LLC / Uwe M. Ross. All rights are reserved.

• The VCDS license agreement, which you must accept when installing the software, states that decompilation, disassembly, reverse-engineering, alteration, use as a reference tool for the purpose of developing a product with similar functionality, or re-distribution in any form without the prior written consent of the author is prohibited.

• By purchasing a license for and by downloading and installing the Ross-Tech VCDS software, you acknowledge that this Program is provided “as is” and “with all faults, defects and errors” and that all use of the Program is at your own full risk.

• Ross-Tech will make best efforts to fix any errors (bugs) and will enhance the program, but Ross-Tech specifically disclaims any liability for damage to the customer’s computer or car.

• Ross-Tech does not promise nor commit to have any particular enhancements available on any specific date.

• VCDS licenses and systems purchased directly from Ross-Tech are English-language only. Other languages must be ordered directly from the respective reseller, a list of which can be found on our home page.

By continuing the check-out process, I am accepting the terms and acknowledged the purchase of the items shown on the invoice above. I acknowledge that shipping costs have been added per my selection and these have been properly shown to me prior to the order being submitted.
